Our previous end-of-season news bulletin certainly made a big impression. Since the last news-update, we’ve sold most of the last remaining-brand new 2010 Elddis models, the saving against the 2011-price and January VAT increase made too much sense.

So with one more shopping weekend before Christmas, we thought we’d drop a gentle reminder to those thinking of buying a new motor home in the new year. There’s still a limited selection of brand new 2010 vehicles in stock, including the superb Swift Escape range. Never one for shirking a challenge, the team at Cleveland Motohomes braved the very worst of the Autumn/Winter weather, in an effort to clear snow from the forcourt. Being the north’s largest independent motorhome retailer, this was by no means an easy task. I have to admit, we had a helping hand in the shape of a a huge JCB. Three hours later we had the place looking back to normal.

Even though we’re not entirely snow free, we do have clear road through with plenty of snow free parking. Covering only 7,000 miles from new, this vehicle will cost you £70,000 on the 2011 price list. This was the first automatic Kontiki ever sold, originally only a concept vehicle

Today (Friday 13th) felt more like October than August. An Autumn chill filled the air with torrential rain giving us a timely reminder British summer time remains as fickle as it does brief. However, a bright ray of sunshine filled our dealership today in the shape of Milli Steele, who along with mum and dad (Keith & Susan Steele), took delivery of their impressive new Sundance 630. It’s been great to see so many smiling happy faces this summer, and Milli’s cheery smile certainly helped chase away the clouds.

Keith from Stockton, was very methodic before buying. He spent a great deal of time doing his homework finding the right vehicle for himself and his family. Once Keith made up his mind on the Sundance 630, it was then a matter of finding the right motorhome dealer. That’s were Cleveland Motorhomes came in. Our new website is receiving some very positive feedback from both new and old customers. For instance, take Mr. & Mrs. Woods from Wigan. THE NORTHERN MOTORCARAVAN SHOW

We’ve just returned from a hectic few days at the Northern Motorcaravan Show event in Cheshire, and even though the venue has moved south from its original home in Pickering, we were still pleased to see many familiar faces.

We really appreciate all our customers making the extra effort traveling further south, and although we always enjoyed the show in Pickering, I have to say the extra space and the lovely surroundings, do make the Cheshire Showground in Tabley, Knutsford, an ideal venue.

The show was celebrating its sixteenth year, and I’m pleased Cleveland Motorhomes had something to suit every budget and taste.
